👩🦰👨🦱 Youth & Women Empowerment
CoDHNet empowers youth and women to become active leaders and drivers of positive change in their communities. Through skills development, entrepreneurship support, and leadership programs, we help young people and women build confidence, gain economic independence, and participate meaningfully in social and civic life.
Our initiatives focus on addressing key challenges such as unemployment, social exclusion, gender inequality, and vulnerability to exploitation and radicalization, particularly in underserved and conflict-affected communities across Kenya and Somalia.

Key Areas of Focus
- Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods: Supporting youth and women with business skills, vocational training, and income-generating opportunities.
- Leadership and Civic Engagement: Building the capacity of young people and women to participate in community decision-making and peacebuilding.
- Skills Development: Providing life skills, digital literacy, and career development training to improve employability.
- Gender Equality and Women’s Rights: Promoting the empowerment, leadership, and protection of women and girls.
- Mental Health and Well-being: Supporting youth resilience through psychosocial support and substance abuse prevention programs.
Through these initiatives, CoDHNet aims to strengthen resilience, promote gender equality, and create sustainable opportunities for youth and women to contribute to inclusive and peaceful societies.
